So, after some particularly arduous tasks, i was able to get Age of Conan installed and thoroughly patched. Pretty fun! It's actually really slick, and Melekh (my level 8 Cimmerian barbarian) is pretty badass, but not yet badass enough to bulldoze over barrelchest apes and pirates so he can get some salted meat. By Mitra! I did finally decide to just enter Tortage and bought myself some new armor and weapons though, so maybe that might make a difference.

...or, that's what i would say if they weren't about to start some downtime! After spending literally the whole fucking morning yesterday downloading a patch, and then experiencing some server trouble today (on top of this downtime), i've hardly gotten a chance to really sink my teeth into it. It is pretty fucking cool from what i've seen, though.

These days when i go into work at 7:00PM and leave around 2ish are kind of alright. At least, it's nice to have most of my day open? And i can do all sorts of stuff with the extra four or so hours i get before i leave. Of course, once i get to work and don't really know about anything that happened during the shift and thus can't accomplish too much during the rest of the night is kind of a downer.

Anyway, i bought the Region 1 set of Spaced: The Complete Series and a bunch of other shit. In a few weeks i'll buy an XBox 360 and preorder Tales of Vesperia and Infinite Undiscovery (and fucking Mercenaries 2 and The Force Unleashed and how many fucking games are coming out this season!??!) and have a lot of fun with my life i hope it is changing a lot at once kind of.
